Sunscreen is a filter, not a vibe
SPF is the job. The rest of the bottle is a leave-on cosmetic we score like any other cream: fragrance, endocrine filters, sprays.

Zinc oxide, titanium dioxide, a bland cream. Fragrance-free. That is the bottle we would put on a child and on a pregnant belly. Chemical filters can be fine — avobenzone is a workhorse — but oxybenzone and octinoxate are the ones we mark harder.
Sprays and ‘reef safe’
Sprays are hard to dose and easy to inhale. ‘Reef safe’ is a marketing sentence, not a lab. We score the filters we can see. Scan the bottle. The disc does not care about the turtle on the front.
How to shop it
A cream you will actually wear. Mineral if your skin or your values want it. No perfume. Reapply. The score is the formula, not the tan.
