A lipstick is wax, oil, pigment. Some are calm. Some carry the same preservatives and fragrance we flag in a cream, sitting on your mouth all day.

Foundation and lip are closer to skincare than to a rinse-off. Parabens, formaldehyde-releasers, and heavy fragrance matter more here than in a hand soap. Mineral tints with a short list exist.
